Warren Zevon: The Envoy

On July 16, 1982, “Asylum” label released “The Envoy”, the fifth Warren Zevon studio album. It was recorded in 1981, at “Record One” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Warren Zevon, Greg Ladanyi, and Waddy Wachtel.

The album received the “German Record Critics’ Award” (Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik) in the “Pop and Rock” category.

Tolkien’s novel “The Lord of the Rings” (the first was “Journey of the Dunadan” from 1993).
