On May 7, 1986, “Capitol” label released the self-titled, fifth Tom Cochrane and Red Rider studio album. It was recorded in 1986, at “Rockfield Studios” in Wales, “Cedartree Studios” in Kitchener, Ontario, and was produced by Patrick Moran, Tom Cochrane, Ken Greer, Fraser Hill and Rick Hutt. The album earned Cochrane “Juno Awards” for “Composer of the Year” and “Group of the Year”. A remastered version was released by EMI in 2004.
