The Band: Northern Lights-Southern Cross

In November 1975, “Capitol” label released “Northern Lights – Southern Cross”, the sixth Band (The) studio album. It was recorded in 1975, at “Shangri-La Studios” in Zuma Beach, California, and was produced by Rick Danko, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel and Robbie Robertson.

The album cover art features a detail from the painting Ophelia (First Version) by the Pre-Raphaelite painter Arthur Hughes.
