On March 26, 2021, “Blue Note” label released “Breathe”, the 29th and the final Dr. Lonnie Smith album. It was recorded in 2021, at “Jazz Standard” and “The Hit Factory Criteria, and was produced by Don Was.

Alan White

On May 26, 2022, Alan White died aged 72. He was musician (drums, percussion), performed and recorded with John Lennon, George Harrison, Terry Reid, Donovan, The Ventures, Joe Cocker, Ginger Baker’s Air Force, Gary Wright, Jesse Davis, Paul Kossoff, Rick Wakeman, Steve Howe, Eddie Harris, Gary Wright, Chris Squire, Johnny Harris and Alan Price, but was best known as drummer of Yes. As leader, he released one album. In 2017, White was inducted into the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”, as a member of Yes.

In January 1984, “RCA” label released “Lady of the Stars”, the seventeenth Donovan studio album. It was recorded in 1983, at “Cherokee Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Bruce Robb, Dee Robband and Jerry Wexler.

On March 7, 1971, Harold McNair died aged 39. He was musician (saxophone, flute), recorded and performed with many artists including Quincy Jones, Tony Crombie, Jack Costanzo,Eddie “Lockjaw” Davis, Jimi Hendrix, Philly Joe Jones, John Cameron, Blossom Dearie, Jon Hendricks, Ginger Baker’s Air Force, Ginger Baker’s Air Force (Polydor, 1970), with Steve Winwood, Phil Seamen, Johnny Harris, Donovan, The Picadilly Line, Lionel Bart, Steamhammer, Davy Graham, John Martyn, Don Partridge, Syd Dale, Brian Bennett, Kathe Green, Alun Ashworth Jones, Magna Carta, Marc Brierley, Nick Drake – Bryter Layter, CCS, Peter Collins, Peter Collins, Rosetta Hightower, Cressida, Caetano Veloso, Alexis Korner, Seven Ages of Man and Tim Hollier. Henry McCullough

On June 14, 2016, Henry Campbell Liken McCullough died aged 72. He was musician (guitar), singer and songwriter, worked with many musicians including Joe Cocker, George Harrison, Roy Harper, Frankie Miller, Eric Burdon, Marianne Faithful, Ronnie Lane, Donovan, Bobby Harrison, Steve Marriot, Time Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. McCullough was member of Spooky Tooth, The Grease Band, Dr. Feelgood and Wings. As leader he released one EP and five solo albums.
