On May 28,, 1968, “Fantasy” label released the self-titled, debut Creedence Clearwater Revival studio album. It was recorded October 1967, January–February 1968, at “Coast Recorders” in San Francisco, and was produced by Saul Zaentz. The album was certified Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

On June 26, 1974, “Swan Song” label released the self-titled, debut Bad Company album. It was recorded in November 1973, at “Headley Grange” with “Ronnie Lane’s Mobile Studio”, and was produced by Paul Rodgers, Mike Ralphs, Boz Burrell, and Simon Kirke. “Kerrang!” magazine ranked the album at number 40 among the “100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time”.

In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 62 in its list of the “Best Debut Albums of All Time”. In its special edition issue “Pink Floyd & The Story of Prog Rock”, “Q” magazine ranked the album at number 31 on the list of “40 Cosmic Rock Albums”.
