On October 2, 1964, “Pye” label released the debut self-titled Kinks album. It was recorded July – August 1964, at “Pye Studios No. 2”; “Pye Studios No. 1”, and “IBC Studios”, and was produced by Shel Talmy.

On October 1, 1980, “4AD” label released “In the Flat Field” the debut Bauhaus studio album. It was recorded December 1979; June – July 1980, at “BBC Maida Vale Studios” and “Southern Studios” in London, and was produced by Petyer Murphy, Daniel Ash, David J and Kevin Haskins. “In the Flat Field” is considered one of the first gothic rock albums.

On September 29, 1995, “Motor Music” label released “Herzeleid” the debut Rammstein album. It was recorded in 1995, at “Polar Studios” in Stockholm, and was produced by Jacob Hellner and Carl-Michael Herlöfsson. In 2005,  “Rock Hard” magazine ranked “Herzeleid”  at number 303 in its book of “The 500 Greatest Rock & Metal Albums of All Time”. The album was certified Platinum in Germany by “BVMI”.

On September 25, 1979, “EMI” label released “Entertainment!” the debut Gang of Four album. It was recorded 1979 at “The Workhouse” in London, and was produced by Andy Gill, Jon King and Rob Warr. In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 483 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. In 2005, “Q”  magazine  ranked the track “At Home He’s a Tourist” at number 52 on its list of the “100 Greatest Guitar Tracks”.
