On March 22, 1994, “Warner Bros” label released “Woke up with a Monster”, the twelfth Cheap Trick studio album. It was recorded 1991 – 1992, at “Andora Studios” in Hollywood, “Larrabee North” in Universal City, California, and was produced by Ted Templeman.

On March 3, 2023, David Perry Lindley died aged 78. He was musician (violin, acoustic and electric guitar, lap steel guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, upright and electric bass, cittern, bağlama,  gumbus,  charango,  cümbüş,  oud  and zither. Lindley was founding member of the bands Kaleidoscope and El Rayo-X, recorded and performed with Ry Cooder, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Curtis Mayfield, Dolly Parton, Waren Zevon, Graham Nash, Stephen Stills, James Taylor, David Crosby, Terry Reid, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Toto, Rod Stewart, Dan Fogelberg, Joe Walsh, Henry Kaiser, G. On May 26, 2022, Alan White died aged 72. He was musician (drums, percussion), performed and recorded with John Lennon, George Harrison, Terry Reid, Donovan, The Ventures, Joe Cocker, Ginger Baker’s Air Force, Gary Wright, Jesse Davis, Paul Kossoff, Rick Wakeman, Steve Howe, Eddie Harris, Gary Wright, Chris Squire, Johnny Harris and Alan Price, but was best known as drummer of Yes. As leader, he released one album. In 2017, White was inducted into the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”, as a member of Yes.

On November 12, 2008, John Graham “Mitch” Mitchell died 62. He was musician (drums) and child actor, member of band Soul Messengers, has performed and recorded with Pete Nelson and the Travelers, Frankie Reid and the Casuals, Johnny Harris and the Shades, the Pretty Things, Bill Knight & the Sceptres, the Riot Squad, the Who, Georgie Fame, Roger Chapman, Junior Brown, Jack Bruce, David Torn, Larry Coryell, Ramatam, Greg Parker, Terry Reid, Martha Velez, Jeff Beck, Noel Redding, but was best known as member of the Jimi Hendrix Experience. In 2009, he was inducted into the “Modern Drummer Hall of Fame”.

On November 21, 1995, Peter James “G” Grant died aged 60. He was music manager, working with Led Zeppelin, The Yardbirds, The Jeff Beck Group, Terry Reid,  The New Vaudeville Band, Bad Company, Maggie Bell, The Nashville Teens and Stone the Crows. He was known as “one of the most ruthless and successful managers in rock history”.
