In July 1972, “Capricorn” label released the self-titled, debut Captain Beyond album. It was recorded 1971 – 1972, at “Sunset Sound Recorders” in Hollywood, and was produced by Rod Evans, Larry “Rhino” Reinhardt, Lee Dorman and Bobby Caldwell. The album was dedicated to the memory of Duane Allman.

It was recorded February 1966 – July 1967, at “Sunset Sound Recorders”; “United Western Recorders”; “CBS Columbia Square”; Brian Wilson’s home studio, and “Wally Heider Studios”, in Los Angeles, and was produced by Al Jarfine, Mike Love, Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson and Dennis Wilson. In 1974, “NME” magazine voted “Smiley  Smile” the 64th greatest album of all time.

It was recorded June–October 1967, January 1969, July 1970, at “Sunset Sound Recorders”, “Gold Star Studios”, and Brian Wilson’s home studio in Los Angeles, and was produced by Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson, Al Jardine, Mike Love and Bruce Johnston.. In 1997, “Guardian” ranked “Sunflower” at number 66 on its list of the “100 Best Albums Ever”.
