Anchor & Braille: Felt

On October 23, 1986, “A&M” label released “Blah-Blah-Blah”, the seventh Iggy Pop studio album. It was recorded in 1986, at “Mountain Studios” in Montreux, Switzerland, and was produced by David Bowie and David Richards. The album was Iggy Pop and David Bowie last collaboration, and became the most commercially successful Iggy Pop’s album to date.

It was recorded by Brian Eno in his London home studio through 2006, finished by David Byrne and Leo Abrahams in their New  York  City and London home studios through 2008; additional instrumentation recorded at “Cafe Music Studios” and “Harder Sound” in New York City. At the 51st “Annual Grammy Awards” in February 2009, Stefan Sagmeister won the award for “Best Recording Package”
