The Doobie Brothers: Livin’ on the Fault Line

On August 19, 1977, “Warner Bros” label released “Livin’ on the Fault Line”, the seventh Doobie Brothers (The) studio album. It was recorded in 1977, at “Sunset Sound Recorders”, “Western Recorders” and “Warner Bros. Recording Studios” in Hollywood, and was produced by Ted Templeman.

In August 1969, “Chess” label released “Fathers and Sons”, the seventh Muddy Waters studio album. The album features both studio and live recordings. The studio tracks were recorded in April 21–23, 1969 at “Ter Mar Studios” in Chicago, April 24, 1969 at the “Super Cosmic Joy-Scout Jamboree” in Chicago. Producer on all tracks was Norman Dayron.The cover illustration was by Don Wilson and was based on Michelangelo’s design on the Sistine Chapel.

Journey: Escape

On July 17, 1981, “Columbia” label released “Escape” (E5C4P3 on the album cover) the seventh Journey studio album. It was recorded April – June at “Fantasy Studios” in Berkeley, California,  and was produced by Mike Stone, Kevin Elson and Steve Perry. In 1988, “Kerrang!” readers voted “Escape” the greatest AOR album of all time. The album was certified 3 x Platinum in Canada by “CRIA”, and 9 x Platinum in US by the “RIIA”.
