Mason Williams won two “Grammy Awards”, for “Best Pop Instrumental Performance” and “Best Instrumental Theme”. Mike Post won “Best Instrumental Arrangement on the Song”.

It was recorded in 2002, and was produced by Hal Willner and Lou Reed. “The Raven” is concept album recounting the short stories and poems of Edgar Allan Poe through word and song. The album also features new versions of two of Lou Reed’s songs, “The Bed” and “Perfect Day”.
