Lights: Siberia

Siberia

On October 4, 2011, “Lights Music” and “Last Gang” labels released “Siberia”, the second Lights studio album. It was recorded 2010 –2011, at “Metalworks Studios” in Mississauga, Ontario, and was produced by Lights, Brian Borcherdt, Tawgs Salter, David Thomson, Graham Walsh and Holy Fuck.

In 1967, “Verve” label released “A Simple Matter of Conviction”, the 32nd Bill Evans album. It was recorded on October 4, 1966, at “Van Gelder Studio” in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and was produced by Creed Taylor.

It was recorded in 2005, at “Allaire Studios” in Shokan, New York, and was produced by John Leckie and  Jim James. In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 457 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”; and on number 31st on its list of the “100 Best Albums of the 2000s”, and 23rd of the “40 Greatest Stoner Albums Ever”.
