On September 24, 1996, “DGC” label released “Pinkerton”, the second Weezer studio album. It was recorded September 1995, January–June 1996, at “Sound City” in Los Angeles; “Fort Apache Studios” in Boston; “Hollywood Sound Recorders” in Los Angeles; “Rumbo Recorders” in Canoga Park; “Electric Lady Studios” in New York City, and was produced by Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell and Matt Sharp.

On July 22, 1974, “Tamla” label released “Fulfillingness’ First Finale”, the  seventeen Stevie Wonder studio album. It was recorded in 1974, at “Record Plant Studios” and “Westlake Recording Studios” in Los Angeles; “Media Sound” and “Electric Lady Studios” in New York City, and was produced by Stevie Wonder, Robert Margouleff and  Malcolm Cecil. In 1974, the album won three  “Grammy Awards”, including “Album of the Year”; “Best Male Pop Vocal” and “Best Male Rhythm and Blues Vocal Performance” (for Boogie On Reggae Woman).

Mingus

On June 13, 1979, “Asylum” label released “Mingus”, the tenth Joni Mitchell studio album. The album was recorded in 1978 – 1979, and was finalized few months before Charles Mingus death, and was his last music project. “Mingus” was recorded at “A&M Studios” in Hollywood and “Electric Lady Studios” in New York, and was produced by Joni Mitchell. Album artwork features Joni Mitchell paintings of Mingus.

On May 14, 1982, “CBS” label released “Combat Rock”, the fifth Clash studio album. It was recorded in 1980 and September 1981, at “Ear Studios” in London; November 1981–January 1982 at “Electric Lady Studios” in New York City and  April 1982 in “Warnford” in Hampshire, and was produced by Glyn Johns, Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon. The album was certified double Platinum in US by the “RIIA”. It was the last band’s album with the classic lineup whit Topper Headon and Mick Jones.

On May 10, 1994, “DGC” label released the self-titled, debut  Weezer album (also known as The Blue Album). It was recorded August – September 1993, at “Electric Lady Studios” in New York City, and was produced by Ric Ocasek. The album has been certified triple-Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”, and double-platinum in Canada. In 2005, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 297 on its list of the “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time’, and in 2013, at number 35 on its list of “The 100 Best Debut Albums of All Time”.
