Ultravox: Brilliant

On May 25, 2012, “Chrysalis” label released “Brilliant”, the eleventh and final Ultravox studio album. It was recorded September 2010 – December 2011, at “The Lakehouse” in Montreal, Canada, “Environment” in Bath, England, “Sarm” and “Battery” in London, “Studio City Sound” in California, and was produced by Stephen Lipson, Warren Cann, Chris Cross, Billy Currie and Midge Ure.

Jarvis Cocker: Chansons d’Ennul Tip-Top

On October 22, 2021, “ABKCO Music & Records” label released “Chansons d’Ennui Tip-Top”, the fifth Jarvis Cocker album. The album features cover versions of French pop songs. It was recorded in 2021, at “Narcissus Studios” in London and at Jarvis Cocker’s home, and was produced by Jason Buckle and Jarvis Cocker.

In February 1969.

In February 1969, “Kapp” label released “Contact”, the second Silver Apples studio album. It was recorded in 1968, and was produced by Simeon Coxe III, Danny Taylor and Barry Bryan. “Pan Am Airlines” generated a lawsuit against the band, concerning the album cover an inner artwork (cover showing Silver Apples in a plane cockpit with drug paraphernalia, and the inner artwork showing the band among plane wreckage playing banjos). The resulting lawsuit led to the breakup of the band. Magazine “The Wire” placed “Contact” in its list of the “One Hundred Records That Set the World on Fire (While No One Was Listening
