On June 15, 2007, “Third Man” label released “Icky Thump”, the sixth and  final  White Stripes album. It was recorded in February 2007, at “Blackbird Studio” in Nashville, and was produced by Jack White. In February 2008, “Icky Thump” won “Grammy Awards” for “Best Alternative Music Album”, and “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocal”.

On October 3, 1980, “A&M” label released “Zenyatta Mondatta” the third Police (The) studio album. It was recorded July – August 1980, at “Wisseloord Studios” in Hilversum, Netherlands, and was produced by Sting, Andy Summers, Stewart Copeland and Nigel Gray. The album won two “Grammy Awards” including “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal” for “Don’t Stand So Close to Me” and “Best Rock Instrumental Performance” for “Behind My Camel”.  The album was certified Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”; Platinum in France by “SNEP”; Platinum in UK by “BPI”, and 2 x Platinum in the US by “RIIA”.

On September 12, 1989, “Geffen” label released “Pump”, the tenth Aerosmith studio album. It was recorded January–June 1989, at “Little Mountain Sound Studio”, and was produced by Bruce Fairbairn. The album was certified 7 x Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”, and 7 x Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”. In 1990, Aerosmith won “Grammy Award” for the album song “Janie’s Got a Gun”, for “Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal”.

In 2002, at the “Q Awards” the album was awarded “Best Album”. In 2003, the album won Coldplay “Grammy Awards” for “Best Alternative Album” and for “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal” for the song “In My Place”, and was voted “Best British Album” at the “BRIT Awards”. In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “A Rush of Blood to the Head” at number 466 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
