On January 13, 2021, John Voorhis “Tim” Bogert III died aged 76. He was musician (bass) and singer, known for his ground-breaking sound on Fender Precision bass. He was member, recorded, and performed with Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, Pappo,  Bobby and the Midnites, Boxer, Rick Derringer, Blues Mobile Band, Jake E. Lee, DBA, Hollywood Monsters, but was best known as the bass player of the super-group Beck, Bogert & Appice (together with Jeff Beck and Carmine Appice).

On April 19, 2019.

On April 19, 2019, “RCA” label released “Social Cues”, the fifth Cage the Elephant studio album. It was recorded 2018 – 2019, at “Battle Tapes Recording”, “Blackbird Studio” and “Sound Emporium” in Nashville, Tennessee, “Village Recording Studio” in Los Angeles, and was produced by John Hill.

On June 18, 1996, “DGC” label released “Odelay”, the second Beck official studio album. It was recorded 1994 – 1996, and was produced by Beck Hansen, The Dust Brothers,Mario Caldato, Jr, Brian Paulson,Tom Rothrock and Rob Schnapf. In 1997 “Odelay” won “Grammy Award” for “Best Alternative Music Album” and “Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance” for the song “Where It’s At”. “Rolling Stone” magazine voted “Odelay” “Album of the Year”, “Best Album of the Year” in The Village Voice Pazz & Jop” critics poll, and album of the year in “NME” annual critics poll. In 2003,”Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 306 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. “Odelay” was certified Platinum in UK by the “BPI”, 2 x Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”. The album cover is a photograph of a Komondor, Hungarian breed of dog.
