Morrissey: I Am Not a Dog on a Chain

On March 20, 2020, “BMG” label released “I Am Not a Dog on a Chain” the thirteenth Morrissey studio album. It was recorded in 2019, at “Studio La Fabrique” in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France, “Sunset Sound” in Hollywood, and was produced by Joe Chiccarelli.

Hal Blaine

On March 11, 2019, Harold Simon Belsky aka Hal Blaine died aged 90. He was musician (drums) regarded to be one of the most recorded studio drummers in the history of the modern music. He had more than 35,000 recording sessions in various music genres including big number of film and TV soundtracks. Asa Brebner

On March 10, 2019, Asa Brebner died aged 65. He was musician (guitar), singer and songwriter, one of the main figures of the Boston alternative music scene. He supported and worked with Robin Lane & the Chartbusters, Mickey Clean & the Mezz, the Grey Boys, The Family Jewels, and the Naked I’s. He was founding member and leader of Asa Brebner’s Idle Hands, but was best known as member and guitarist of Jonathan Richman & the Modern Lovers.

Patty Griffin: Same

On March 8, 2019, “PGM Recordings” label released the self-titled, tenth Patty Griffin studio album. It was recorded 2017 – 2019, and was produced by Craig Frost and Patty Griffin. At the 62nd “Grammy Awards”, “Patty Griffin” won the “Best Folk Album”.
