It was recorded February – August 1985, at “Park Gates Studio” in Hastings; “Livingstone Studios”; “Seaview Studios”; “The Chocolate Factory”; “R G Jones Recording Studios”; “Townhouse Studios”, and “Good Earth Studios” in London, and was produced by Mike Scott, John Brand, Mick Glossop and Karl Wallinger.

Rick Wright

On September 15, 2008, Richard William “Rick” Wright died aged 65. He  was musician (keyboards), composer, singer and songwriter, best known as founding member, keyboardist and vocalist of Pink Floyd. He recorded and performed on all Pink Floyd’s albums except on “The Final Cut”.

Johnny Ramone

On September 15, 2004, John William Cummings aka Johnny Ramone, died aged 55. He was musician (guitar) and songwriter, best known as founding member and guitarist of the Ramones. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked him at number 16 on its list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”. The same year, “Time” magazine ranked him on its list of the “10 Greatest Electric-Guitar Players”.

On September 15, 1983, “Chrysalis” label released “Sports”, the third Huey Lewis and the News album .It was recorded in 1983, at “Fantasy Studios” in Berkeley, California;“Record Plant” in Sausalito, California, and “The Automatt” in San Francisco, and was produced by   Huey Lewis, Mario Cipolina, Johnny Colla, Bill Gibons and Chris Hayes. The album cover art features a photo of the band at the “2 A.M. Club”, a bar located in Mill Valley, California, where the band had performed during its early days. The album was certified Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”; Diamond in Canada by “Music Canada”; Platinum in New Zealand by “RMNZ”, and 7 x Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.
