In January 1975, “Island” label released “Sunday’s Child”, the eight John Martyn album. It was recorded in August 1974, at “Island Studios” in Hammersmith, London, and was produced by John Martyn.

On January 6, 2009, “Domino” label released “Merriweather Post Pavilion”, the eighth Animal Collective studio album. It was recorded February 2008, at “Sweet Tea Recording Studios” in Oxford, Mississippi, and was produced by Ben H. Allen, Avey Tare, Panda Bear and Geologist.

Paul Bley

On January 3, 2016, Hyman Paul Bley died aged 83. He was musician   (piano) and composer, one of the most important figures of the free jazz movement of the 60s and for his innovations and influence on trio playing.
