Visage: The Anvil

In March 1982, “Polydor” label released “The Anvil”, the second Visage studio album. It was recorded in 1981, at “Mayfair Studios” in London, and was produced by Midge Ure, Steve Strange, Dave Formula, Billy Currie and Rusty Egan. The album’s front cover photograph was taken by Helmut Newton.

On June 16, 1969, “Straight” label released “Trout Mask Replica”, the third Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band album. It was recorded August 1968 – March 1969, at “Sunset Sound Recorders” and “Whitney Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Frank Zappa. The album is highly regarded as one of the most influential albums in the history of the 20th century. ”Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Trout Mask Replica” at number 60 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.

On December 7, 1971, “Apple” label released “Wild Life”, the debut Wings album.  It was recorded July – August 1971 at the “Abbey Road Studios” in London, and was produced by  Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney.

On October 19, 1987, “WEA” label released “Kick”, the sixth INXS studio album.  It was recorded 1986–1987, at the “Rhinoceros Recordings” in Sydney, and “Studio De La Grande Armée” in Paris, and was produced by Chris Thomas. This is band’s commercially most successful album and is certified 6 x Platinum in US by the “RIAA”.
