Michael Franks: Blue Pacific

On May 31, 1990, “Reprise” label released “Blue Pacific”, the eleventh Michael Franks album. It was recorded 1989 – 1990, at “JHL Sound” in Pacific Palisades, California, “Studio Ultimo” and “Soundworks West” in Los Angeles, “Ground Control Studios” in Burbank, California, “Ocean Way” and “Cherokee Studios” in Hollywood, “Larrabee Sound Studios” and “Schnee Studios” in North Hollywood, and was produced by Walter Becker, Tommy LiPumma and Jeff Lorber.

John Mayall: Empty Rooms

In March 1970, “Polydor” label released “Empty Rooms”, the eight John Mayall studio album. It was recorded in 1969, at “De Lane Lea Studios” and “Advision Studios” in London, “Broadway Recordings” in New York, “Larrabee Sound Studios” in Hollywood, and was produced by John Mayall.

It was recorded and mixed 1981 – 1982, at “Le Château”  in  Hérouville, France, “Larrabee Sound Studios” , “The Record Plant”, “George Massenburg Labs”in Los Angeles, and was produced by Fleetwood Mac, Richard Dashut and Ken Caillat. “Mirage” was certified Platinum in UK by the “BPI”, Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”,  2 x Platinum in the US by the “RIIA” and 2 x Platinum in Australia by the “ARIA”.
