On September 17, 1991, “Geffen” label released “Use Your Illusion I”, the third Guns N’ Roses studio album. It was recorded and mixed January 1990–August 1991, at “A&M Studios”; “Record Plant Studios”; “Studio 56”; “Image Recording”; “Conway Studios”; “Metalworks Recording Studios”, and “Skip Saylor Recording”, and was produced by Mike Clink and Guns N’ Roses. The album cover was designed by Mark Kostabi. The album was certified 5 x Platinum in Argentina by “CAPIF”; 2 x Platinum in Austria by “IFPI”; 2 x Platinum in Belgium by “BEA”; Platinum in Brazil by “ABPD”; Diamond in Canada by “Music Canada”; Platinum in Finland by “Musiikkituottajat”; Platinum in France by “SNEP”; 2 x Platinum in Germany by “BVMI”; 2 x Platinum in Japan by “RIAJ”;Platinum in Mexico by “AMPROFON”; Platinum in New Zealand by “RMNZ”; Platinum in Sweden by “RMNZ”; 2 x Platinum in Switzerland by “IFPI Switzerland”; Platinum in UK by “BPI, and 7x Platinum in the US by the “RIIA’.

On August 26, 2002, “Parlaphone” label released “A Rush of Blood to the Head”, the second Coldplay studio album. It was recorded September 2001 – May 2002, and was produced by Ken Nelson, Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman  and Will Cha,pion. In 2002, at the “Q Awards” the album was awarded “Best Album”. In 2003, the album won Coldplay “Grammy Awards” for “Best Alternative Album” and for “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal” for the song “In My Place”, and was voted “Best British Album” at the “BRIT Awards”. In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “A Rush of Blood to the Head” at number 466 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. Daevid Allen

On March 13, 2015, Christopher David Allen aka Daevid Allen died aged 77. He was musician (guitar) and songwriter, one of the most important figures of the progressive and avant-garde rock, Born in Australia, moved in UK in 1961, he was founding member of “Soft Machine” (1966) and in 1967, in France he formed the legendary band “Gong”.
