On October 29, 1996, “Young God” and “Atavistic” labels released “Soundtracks for the Blind”, the tenth Swans studio album. It was recorded 1981 – 1996, at “Coast Recorders” in San Francisco, “B.C. Studios” in Brooklyn, New York, “Plastikville” in New York City, “Griffin Mastering” in Atlanta, Georgia, and was produced by Michael Gira and Jarboe.
