It was recorded May – July 2014, at “Warehouse Studio” in Vancouver, British Columbia, and was produced by Brendan O’Brien. The album was certified Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”, 2 x Platinum in Austria by “IFPI”, 3 x Platinum in France by “SNEP”, Diamond in Germany by “BVMI”, Platinum in Hungary by “MAHASZ”, Platinum in Italy by “FIMI”, Platinum in Poland by “ZPAV”, Platinum in Spain by “PROMUSICAE”, and 4 x Platinum in Switzerland by “IFPI”.

Rick Rosas

On November 6, 2014, Rick Rosas aka “Rick the Bass Player” died aged 65. He was musician (bass), one of the most south after studio session musicians in California. He performed and recorded with Neil Young, Ron Wood, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Rivers, Etta James, Buffalo Springfield, Joe Walsh, and Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.

Primus: Primus & the Chocolate Factory with the Fungi Ensemble

On October 21, 2014, “ATO Records”, and “Prawn Song Records” labels released “Primus & the Chocolate Factory with the Fungi Ensemble”, the eighth Primus studio album. The album is a re-imagining of the soundtrack of the 1971 film “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory”. It was recorded in 2014, and was produced by Les Claypool.
