On November 17, 1979, John Glascock died aged 28. He was musician (bass, vocal), member of the bands Toe Fat, The Gods, Carmen, Chicken Shack, but was best known as the bass player of Jethro Tull. He also recorded with Maddy Prior, Richard Digance, and Head Machine.
