Chrome Hoof: Pre-Emptive False Rapture

On July 23, 2007, “Southern Records” label released “Pre-Emptive False Rapture”,the second Chrome Hoof studio album. It was recorded in 2007, at “Southern Studios”, and was produced by Harvey Birrell, Lola Olafisoye, Andy Gustard, Emma Sullivan, Emmett Elvin, Chloe Herington, Sarah Anderson, Leo Smee and Milo Smee.

Pulp: It

In April 1983, “Red Rhino” label released “It”, the debut Pulp album. It was recorded August 1982 – January 1983, at “Input Studio”; “Victoria Studios” and “Southern Studios”, and was produced by Simon Hinkler.  The album was originally released as a limited vinyl mini-LP of 2000 copies.

Crass: The Feeding of the 5000

In February 1978, “Crass Records” label released “The Feeding of the 5000”, the debut Crass album. It was recorded on October 29, 1978, at “Southern Studios”, and was produced by Steve Ignorant, Joy De Vivre, Eve Libertine, Phil Free, Pete Wright,  N. A. Palmer and Penny Rimbaud. This album is considered to be one of the first punk albums to expound anarchist philosophies.

On October 1, 1980, “4AD” label released “In the Flat Field” the debut Bauhaus studio album. It was recorded December 1979; June – July 1980, at “BBC Maida Vale Studios” and “Southern Studios” in London, and was produced by Petyer Murphy, Daniel Ash, David J and Kevin Haskins. “In the Flat Field” is considered one of the first gothic rock albums.
