On September 28, 2005, “Domino” label released “You Could Have It So Much Better”, the second Franz Ferdinand studio album. It was recorded in 2005 in New York City and Scotland, and was produced by Rich Costey, Alex Kapranos, Nick McCarthy, Bob Hardy and Paul Thomson. The cover design is modeled on Alexander Rodchenko’s 1924 portrait of Lilya Brik.
