On June 2, 1986, “EMI” label released “A Kind of Magic”, the twelfth  Queen studio album. It was recorded September 1985 – April 1986, at “Musicland Studios” in Munich, “Mountain Studios” in Montreux and “Townhouse Studios” in London, and was produced by Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon, Roger Taylor,  Mack and David Richards. The album is based on the soundtrack of the movie “Highlander”, directed by Russell Mulcahy. In the 1994 edition of “The Guinness All Time Top 1000 Albums” the album was ranked at number 171 in its “All-time Greatest Rock and Pop Albums”.

On May 22, 1989, “EMI” label released the self-titled, debut Tin Machine album. It was recorded August 1988 – early 1989, at “Mountain Studios” in Montreux, and  “Compass Point Studios” in Nassau, and was produced by David Bowie, Reeves Gabrels, Tony Sales, Hunt Sales and Tim Palmer.

It was recorded January 1988 – January 1989, at “Olympic Studios” and “Townhouse Studios” in London, and “Mountain Studios” in Montreux, and was produced by Freddie mercury, Brian M ay, Roger Taylor, John Deacon and David Richards. The album was certified Platinum in UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland and Poland.

On March 25, 1972, “Purple Records” label released “Machine Head”, the sixth Deep Purple album .It was recorded in December 1971 in Montreux, and was produced by Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, ian Paice, Ian Gillan and Roger Glover.  In 1989, “Kerrang!” magazine ranked the album at number 35 on its list of “100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time”.

It was recorded in 1976, at “Mountain Recording Studios” in Montreux, and “EMI Studios” in Paris, and was produced by Keith Emerson, Greg Lake, Carl Palmer and Peter Sinfield. “Works Volume 1” is a double album divided into four sections, three highlighting each band member and one for mutual works.

On February 4, 1991,”Parlaphone” released “Innuendo”, the fourteenth Queen studio album. It was recorded March 1989 – November 1990,  at “Metropolis Studios” in London and “Mountain Studios” in Montreux, and was produced by Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon and David Richards. “Innuendo” was the final studio album to be released in Freddie Mercury’s lifetime and is the last to be composed entirely of new material. “Innuendo” was voted the 94th greatest album of all time in a national 2006 “BBC” poll.
