Unicorn

On May 16, 1969, “Regal Zonophone” label released “Unicorn”, the third  Tyrannosaurus Rex studio album. It was recorded November 1968 – February 1969, at “Trident Studios” in London, and was produced by Tony Visconti. It was band’s last album to feature Steve Peregrin Took.

On March 13, 1970, “Regal Zonophone” label released “A Beard of Stars”, the fourth Tyrannosaurus Rex studio album. It was recorded April – November 1969, at “Trident Studios” in London and was produced by Tony Visconti.

This was the first album released under this name since the band changed their name from Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Electric warrior

On September 24, 1971, “Fly” label released “Electric Warrior”, the sixth T. Rex studio album. It was recorded March–June 1971 at “Trident Studios” and “Advision Studios” in  London,  “Wally Heider Studios” in Los Angeles and “Media Sound Studios” in New York, and was produced by Tony Visconti. The cover artwork was designed by art design group Hipgnosis, based on a photograph taken by Kieron “Spud” Murphy at concert at the “Albert Hall”, Nottingham on May 14, 1971.
