On June 4, 2020, Rupert Neville Hine died aged 72. He was musician (various instruments), songwriter and record producer. As producer he worked with Kevin Ayers, Bob Geldof, Howard Jones, Saga, Thompson Twins, Stevie Nicks, Tina Turner, Chris de Burgh, Suzanne Vega and Rush. Under his real name, under the pseudo-band name Thinkman, and as a member of the band Quantum Jump, Hine released eleven albums.

In November 1974, “Caroline” label released “Lady June’s Linguistic Leprosy”, the debut Lady June (June Campbell Cramer) album. It was recorded in 1974, and was produced by David Vorhaus.

In October 1984, Jugoton” label released “Tangenta”, the seventh Leb i Sol studio album. It was recorded September 1984, at “Studio Aquarius” in Belgrade, Serbia, and was produced by Kevin Ayers.

On February 16, 2004.

On February 16, 2004, Doris Elaine Higginsen aka Doris Troy died aged 67. She was singer and songwriter, known by the nick name “Mama Soul”. She had solo career (her biggest hit was “Just One Look” in 1963), but was best known as back-up vocalist for many famous acts including Pink Floyd, Dionne Warwick, The Rolling Stones,  Humble Pie, Nick Drake, Kevin Ayers, Edgar Broughton, George Harrison, Johnny Hallyday, Carly Simon, Vivian Stanshall, Dusty Springfield and Junior Campbell.

In November 1971, “Harvest” label released “Whatevershebringswesing”, the third Kevin Ayers album. It was recorded March – August 1971, at “Abbey Road Studios” in London, and was produced by Kevin Ayers and Andrew King.
