The Cult: Beyond Good And Evil

On June 20, 2001, “Atlantic” label released “Beyond Good and Evil”, the seventh  Cult (The) studio album. It was recorded in 2000, and was produced by Bob Rock. The album title is reference to Friedrich Nietzsche’s 1886 book of the same title.

On June 20, 2000, “Sympathy for the Record Industry” label released “De Stijl”, the second White Stripes (The) studio album. It was recorded 1999–2000, at “Third Man Studio” in Detroit, Michigan, and was produced by Jack White. The album name comes from De Stijl (“the style” in English), a Dutch art movement.

It was recorded in 1979, at “Compass Point Studios” in Nassau, Bahamas, “Pathé Marconi” in Paris, and was produced by The Glimmer Twins. The album was certified  2 x Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

In 2003, “Rolling Stone” label ranked “Tonight’s the Night” at number 331on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
