In January 1976, “Warner Bros” label released the self-titled, debut Kate & Anna McGarrigle album. It was recorded 1974 – 1975, at “A&R Studios” in New York City, “Sunwest Studios” in Hollywood, and was produced by Joe Boyd and Greg Prestopino.

It was recorded January 1969 – May / June 1970, at “The Record Plant” in Los Angeles, the “Hit Factory”, in New York City, and was produced by Bill Szymczyk. “Indianola Mississippi Seeds” is one of the most highly regarded blues crossover albums of all time.
