The Walkmen: Bows + Arrows

On February 2, 2004, “Record Collection” label released “Bows + Arrows”, the second Walkmen (The) studio album. It was recorded April – October 2003, at “Marcata Studios”, “Easley-McCain Recording”, “Sweet Tea Studios”, and was produced by Hamilton Leithauser, Paul Maroon, Walter Martin, Peter Bauer and Matt Barrick.

Built To Spill: Keep It Like A Secret

On February 2, 1999, “Warner Bros” label released “Keep It Like a Secret”, the fourth Built to Spill studio album. It was recorded November 1997 – May 1998, at “Bear Creek Studios” in Woodinville, Washington, “Avast! Recording Co.” in Seattle, Washington, and was produced by Doug Martsch and Phil Ek.

On February 2, 1982, “Chrysalis” label released “Mechanix”, the tenth UFO studio album. It was recorded in 1981, “Mountain Studios” in Attalens, Switzerland, “The Manor Studio” in Shipton-on-Cherwell, Oxfordshire, “Scorpio Sound” and “Maison Rouge Studios” in London, and was produced by Gary Lyons.

In March 1961, “Riverside” label released “Explorations”, the seventh Bill Evans album. It was recorded on February 2, 1961, in New York City, and was produced by Orrin Keepnews. “Explorations” won the Billboard Jazz Critics Best Piano LP poll for 1961.

Dennis Edwards

On February 2, 2018, Dennis Edwards died aged 74. He was singer and musician (piano), member of The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Dennis Edwards and the Fireballs, The Contours,  but was best known as lead singer in The Temptations. Edwards was leading vocal on some of the group’s biggest hits including “I Can’t Get Next to You”, “Ball of Confusion” and “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone”. In the period between 1984 -1993, Edwards released three solo albums.
