Suuns: The Witness

On September 3, 2021, “Joyful Noise Recordings” and “Secret City Records” labels released “The Witness”, the fifth Suuns album. It was recorded December 2019 – September 2020, at “Breakglass Studios” in Montreal, Canada, and was produced by John Congleton.

In July 1972, “CBS” label released “Fifth”, the fifth Soft Machine studio album. It was recorded November – December 1971, January – February 1972, at “Advision Studios” in London, and was produced by Elton Dean, Mike Ratledge, Hugh Hopper, Roy Babbington, Phil Howard and John Marshall.

In May 1972, “RCA” label released “Self”, the fourth Quintessence studio album. Tracks 8 and 9 were recorded live in December 1971 at Exeter University, and the other tracks were recorded in 1972, at “Olympic Studios” in London. The album was produced by Sambhu Babaji, Maha Dev, Shiva Shankar Jones, Jake Milton, Allan Mostert and Raja Ram.
