Life on Planet 9: Higher

On January 31, 2017, Life On Planet 9 (pseudonym for experimental releases for the band Lo-Pro) self-released the album “Higher”. It was recorded 2015 – 2016, and was produced by Pete Murray.

Lindsay Cooper, Fred Frith, Gianni Gebbia and Lars Hollmer: Angels on the Edge of Time

On January 1, 2015, “I Dischi di Angelica” label released “Angels on the Edge of Time”, album by Lindsay Cooper, Fred Frith, Gianni Gebbia and Lars Hollmer. It was recorded on May 30, 1992, at the “AngelicA Festival Internazionale di Musica”, in Bologna, Italy, and was produced  by Massimo Simonini. It is the quartet only album.

Marlo Henderson

On October 25, 2015, Marlo Henderson died aged 64. He was musician (guitar, saxophone), song-writer and producer, played and recorded with many famous musicians including  Paul McCartney, Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, Buddy Miles, Evelyn “Champagne” King, Minnie Riperton, Stevie Wonder, Wonderlove, The Emotions, Andre Lewis and Maxayn.

On November 18, 2016, “Blackened Recordings” label released “Hardwired… to Self-Destruct”, the tenth Metallica studio album. It was recorded May 2015 – August 2016, at “Metallica’s HQ” in San Rafael, California, and was produced by Greg Fidelman, James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich.
