On October 5, 1984, “EMI” label released “You’re Gettin’ Even While I’m Gettin’ Odd”, the eleventh and final J. Geils Band studio album. It was recorded in 1983, at “Long View Farm” in Brookfield, Massachusetts, and was produced by Seth Justman.

It was recorded in 1983, at “Kingdom Sound Studios” in Syosset” New York, and was produced by Joan Jett, Ritchie Cordell, Kenny Laguna, and Greg Kolotkin.
