In October 1973, “Rak” label released the self-titled, debut Suzi Quatro studio album. It was recorded in 1973, at “Audio International Studio” in London, and was produced by Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn.

In October 1973, “Blue Sky” label released “All American Boy”, the debut Rick Derringer solo studio album. It was recorded in 1973 at “Caribou Ranch” in Nederland, and was produced by Bill Szymczyk and Rick Derringer.

The Bottom Line

Bottom Line Club

On February 12, 1974, “The Bottom Line” club opened in New York City. Owned by Allan Pepper and Stanley Snadowsky, during the 70’s and 80’s, the club was a major space for small-scale music performances. The club stoped working in 2004. On May 30, 2003, Michael Peter Hayes aka Mickie Most died aged 64. During the late 50’s he was member of The Most Brothers and Mickie Most and the Playboys, but he is best known as music producer of big number of hits for The Animals, Hermans Hermits, The Nashville Teens, Donovan, Lulu, Arrows, Racey, Jeff Beck and Kim Wilde. In the 70’s Most formed his own record label “RAK” having hits with Hot Chocolate, Suzi Quatro and Mud.

On April 5, 1998, Colin Flooks aka Cozy Powell died aged 51. He was  musician (drums, percussion), composer and producer, member of Bedlam, Cozy Powell’s Hammer, The Jeff Beck Group, Rainbow, MSG, Whitesnake,  Emerson, Lake & Powell, Gary Moore, Black Sabbath, The Brian May Band, Suzi Quatro, Peter Green Splinter Group and Thin Lizzy.
