On September 2, 2011, “Jocoserious Records” label released “Artificial Heart”, the eighth Jonathan Coulton studio album. It was recorded September 2010 – June 2011, and was produced by John Flansburgh.

Rupert Hine

On June 4, 2020, Rupert Neville Hine died aged 72. He was musician (various instruments), songwriter and record producer. As producer he worked with Kevin Ayers, Bob Geldof, Howard Jones, Saga, Thompson Twins, Stevie Nicks, Tina Turner, Chris de Burgh, Suzanne Vega and Rush. Under his real name, under the pseudo-band name Thinkman, and as a member of the band Quantum Jump, Hine released eleven albums.

Suzanne Vega: Same

In May 1985, “A&M” label released the self-titled, debut Suzanne Vega album. It was recorded January-March 1985, at “Celestial Sound Studios” in New York City, and was produced by Steve Addabbo, Lenny Kaye and Steven Miller. In 1989, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Suzanne Vega” at number 80 on its list of the “100 Best Albums of the Eighties”.

On September 8, 1992, “A&M” label released “99.9F°” (Ninety-Nine Point Nine Fahrenheit Degrees), the fourth Suzanne Vega album. It was recorded in 1992, at “Dreamland” in Bearsville, “The Magic Shop “in New York City, and “Sunset Sound Factory” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Mitchell Froom.

On April 10, 1991, “A&M” label released “Days of Open Hand”, the third Suzanne Vega album. It was recorded in 1990, at “Skyline Studios”, “RPM Studios” and “The Living Room”, and was produced by Anton Sanko and Suzanne Vega. The album won “Grammy Award for Best Recording Package” in 1991.
