Porcupine Tree: Up the Downstairs

On June 7, 1993, “Delirium” label released “Up the Downstair”, the second Porcupine Tree studio album. It was recorded February 1992 – January 1993, at “No Man’s Land” in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England, and was produced by Steven Wilson.

On May 22, 2000, “Snapper” label released “Lightbulb Sun”, the sixth Porcupine Tree studio album. It was recorded November 1999 – January 2000, at “Foel Studio” in Llanfair Caereinion, Powys, Welshpool, “No Man’s Land” in Hemel Hampstead, UK, and was produced by Steven Wilson.

Porcupine Tree: On the Sunday of Life…

On May 12, 1992, “Delirium” label released “On the Sunday of Life…”, the debut Porcupine Tree album. It compiles tracks that Steven Wilson recorded for two cassette-only releases, “Tarquin’s Seaweed Farm” (1989) and “The Nostalgia Factory” (1991). It was recorded 1988 – 1992, at “No Man’s Land” in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, UK, and was produced by Steven Wilson.

On February 25, 2013, “Kscope” label released “The Raven That Refused to Sing (And Other Stories)”, the third Steven Wilson album. It was recorded in September 2012, at “EastWest Studios” in Los Angeles, October 2012 at “Angel Recording Studios” in London, and was produced by Alan Parsons and Steven Wilson.

Porcupine Tree: Fear of a Blank Planet

On April 16, 2007, “Roadrunner” label released “Fear of a Blank Planet”, the ninth Porcupine Tree studio album. It was recorded October – December 2006, in London and Tel Aviv, and was produced by Steven Wilson, Richard Barbieri, Colin Edwin and Gavin Harrison. In 2007, “Fear of a Blank Planet” won the “Album of the Year” award at “Classic Rock” magazine awards. In 2015, “Rolling Stone”  ranked it at number 39 on its list of the “Best Progressive Rock Albums of all Time.
