In January 1963, “Moodsville” label released “Bluesy Burrell”, the 18th Kenny Burrell album. It was recorded on September 14, at ”Van Gelder Studios” in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, and was produced by Ozzie Cadena.

It was recorded February 1974 – May 1974 in “Devonshire Sound” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Joe Zawinul and Wayne Shorter. In 1974, readers of “Down Beat” magazine voted “Mysterious Traveller” album of the year.

The Bottom Line

Bottom Line Club

On February 12, 1974, “The Bottom Line” club opened in New York City. Owned by Allan Pepper and Stanley Snadowsky, during the 70’s and 80’s, the club was a major space for small-scale music performances. The club stoped working in 2004.
