Santana: Amigos

On March 26, 1976, “Columbia” label released “Amigos”, the seventh Santana studio album. It was recorded at “Wally Heider Recording Studios” in San Francisco, and was produced by David Rubinson. The album has was released both in stereo and quadraphonic format.

On March 26, 1973, “Epic” label released the self-titled, debut  Beck, Bogert & Appice album. It was recorded in December 1972 and January 1973, and was produced by Don Nix, Jeff Beck, Tim Bogert and Carimne Appice.

Duster Bennett

On March 26, 1976, Anthony “Duster” Bennett died aged 30. He was  musician (acoustic guitar, slide guitar, electric guitar, harmonica, percussion, drums, keyboards, bass guitar, mandolin), performed as a one-man band, playing a bass, guitar, drum with his foot and blowing a harmonica on a rack. Bennett worked with Alexis Korner, John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers and Fleetwood Mac.
