On January 30, 2011, “Moshi Moshi Records” released “Blue Songs”, the second Hercules and Love Affair studio album. It was recorded 2009 – 2010, at the “Feedback Studio” in Vienna, “Lofish Studio” and “Midnight Sun” in New York, “Room 5 Recording” in San Francisco and “E Studios” in Berlin, and was produced by Andrew Butler, Mark Pistel and Patrick Pulsinger.

On January 31, 2000, “Creation” label released “XTRMNTR”  (pronounced “Exterminator”), the sixth Primal Scream studio album. It was recorded 1997 – 1999, and was produced by Bobby Gillespie, Andrew Innes,  Martin Duffy, Gary “Mani” Mounfield, Darrin Mooney, Brendan Lynch, Adrian Maxwell Sherwood, Jagz Kooner, David Holmes, Hugo Nicolson, The Chemical Brothers, Kevin Shields and Tim Holmes. “XTRMNTR” won “Best Album” of the year at the “NME Calling Awards 2001”. “Q” magazine named it as one of the “50 Heaviest Albums of All Time”. “Stylus Magazine” ranked the album at number 10 on their “Stylus Decade” list of the “Top 100 Albums of the 2000s”. In 2014, magazine “NME” ranked “Shoot Speed/Kill Light” at number 190 and “Accelerator” at number 497 and in their list of the “500 Greatest Songs of All Time”, and the album is ranked at number 160 in “NME’s” “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.

It was recorded February – October 1993, at the “Fishhouse” in New Mexico and “Westlake Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Tori Amos and Eric Rosse. Magazine “Blender” included the album in its list of “500 CDs You Must Own”.

Magazine “Spin” ranked “New Day Rising” at number 13 at its list “100 Greatest Albums, 1985-2005.”; the album is ranked at number 488 on “Rolling Stone” magazine’s list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.

On January 31, 1972, “Hi” label released “Let’s Stay Together”, album by Al Green. It was recorded in 1971, at “Royal Recording Studio” in Memphis and was produced by Willie Mitchell. Magazine “Q” included “Let’s Stay Together” in its list of “Best Soul Albums of All Time”. in 1994 “Guinness” ranked the album at number 608 in its “1000 album poll” and at number 25 in the “Top 50 Soul Albums list”.
