On September 14, 2017, Grantzberg Vernon Hart aka Grant Hart, died aged 56. He was musician (drums), singer and song-writer, best known as drummer and songwriter of Hüsker Dü. He was also founding member, guitarist and vocalist of Nova Mob. As leader he released four studio albums.

Hüsker Dü: Zen Arcade
In July 1984, “SST” label released “Zen Arcade”, the second Hüsker Dü studio album. It was recorded in October 1983, at “Total Access Recording” in Redondo Beach, California, except “Standing By the Sea” recorded in December 1982, during the Metal Circus sessions, and was produced by Spot, Grant Hart, Bob Mould and Greg Norton.

Hüsker Dü: New Day Rising
On January 31, 1985, “SST” label released “New Day Rising”, the third Hüsker Dü studio album. It was recorded in July 1984 at “Nicollet Studios” in Minneapolis, and was produced by Bob Mould, Grant Hart, Greg Norton and Spot. Magazine “Spin” ranked “New Day Rising” at number 13 at its list “100 Greatest Albums, 1985-2005.”; the album is ranked at number 488 on “Rolling Stone” magazine’s list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
