In July 1978, “MCA” label released the self – titled, third Larry Carlton album. It was recorded in 1978, at “Room 335” and “Western Recorders” in Hollywood, California, and was produced by Larry Carlton.

On August 13, 1962, “Columbia” label released “The Tender, the Moving, the Swinging Aretha Franklin”, the third  Aretha Franklin studio album. It was recorded April 27; May 4–5; May 11, at “Columbia Recording Studios” in New York City, and was produced by Robert Mersey.

Husker Du New Day Rising

On January 31, 1985, “SST” label released “New Day Rising”, the third Hüsker Dü studio album.  It was recorded in July 1984 at “Nicollet Studios” in Minneapolis, and was produced by Bob Mould, Grant Hart, Greg Norton and Spot. Magazine “Spin” ranked “New Day Rising” at number 13 at its list “100 Greatest Albums, 1985-2005.”; the album is ranked at number 488 on “Rolling Stone” magazine’s list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
