Besnard Lakes: A Coliseum Complex Museum

On January 22, 2016, “Jagjaguwar” label released “A Coliseum Complex Museum”, the fifth Besnard Lakes album. It was recorded in 2015, at “Breakglass Studios” in Montreal, Canada, and was produced by Jace Lasek and Olga Goreas.

Roseanna Vitro: The Music of Randy Newman

On May 10, 2011, “Motéma” label released “The Music of Randy Newman”, the twelfth Roseanna Vitro album. It was recorded on November 9, 2009 and January 22, 2010 at “Charlestown Road Studio” in Hampton, NJ, and was produced by Paul Wickliff and  Roseanna Vitro.

Peter Bardens

On January 22, 2002, Peter Bardens died aged 57. He was musician (keyboards, piano) singer and song writer, member of Them, Shotgun Express, Keats, Mirage, best known as founding member of Camel. Bardens has also worked with Mick Fleetwood, Rod Stewart and Van Morrison. As leader he released eleven albums.

Jaki Liebezeit

On January 22, 2017, Jaki Liebezeit died aged 78. He was musician (drums, percussion, double bass, saxophone, piano), best known as co-founder and drummer of the band Can. Liebezeit recorded and performed with many musician and bands including Manfred Schoof, Brian Eno,  Phantomband, Jah Wobble, Phew, Philip Jeck, Depeche Mode,Eurythmics,  Cyclopean and Bernd Friedmann.
