On September 11, 2020, “Warner Bros” label released “American Head”, the sixteenth Flaming Lips (The) studio album. It was recorded December 2019 – January 2020, at “Tarbox Road Studios” in Cassadaga, New York, “Pink Floor Studios” in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and was produced by Dave Fridmann, Scott Booker, Wayne Coyne, Steven Drozd, Michael Ivins, Derek Brown, Jake Ingalls, Matt Kirksey and Nicholas Ley.
