It was recorded December 1998 – March 1999, in Portland,  Oregon, and was produced by Courtney Taylor-Taylor, Dave Sardy and Gregg Williams. “Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia” was band’s breakthrough album, largely owing to the song “Bohemian Like You”.
