Don DeVito

On November 25, 2011, Don DeVito died aged 72. He was musician (guitar), record producer and music business executive. He started playing guitar on tours with Al Kooper, and has his own band The Sabres. He worked with Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, and Aerosmith, but was best known as producer of some of the most important Bob Dylan’s albums, including “Blood on the Tracks”, “Desire”, “Street Legal”, “Hard rain”, and “Bob Dylan at Budokan”. In 1989 DeVito won “Grammy Award” for “Best Traditional Folk Recording”.

Randy Brecker: Night in Calisia

On November 13, 2012, “Pawlik” label released “Night in Calisia”, album by Randy Brecker, the Wlodek Pawlik Trio, the Kalisz Philharmonic Orchestra and Adam Klocek. The six-part jazz suite was composed to celebrate the 1850th anniversary of Kalisz (city in Poland). It was recorded in March 2011, at “Polskie Radio Studios”.

Glass Hammer: Cor Cordium

On October 25, 2011, “Arion Records/Sound Resources” label released “Cor Cordium”, the twelfth Glass Hammer studio album. The name of the album is taken from the poem of the same name by Algernon Charles Swinburne. It was recorded in 2011, at “Sound Resources”, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and was produced by Fred Schendel and Steve Babb.
