Richie Hayward

On August 12, 2010, Richard “Richie” Hayward died aged 64. He was a musician (drums), best known as the drummer of Little Feat. Hayward recorded and performed with many artists including Paul Rodgers, The Doobie Brothers, Bob Dylan, Peter Frampton, Buddy Guy, Arlo Guthrie, Al Kooper, Linda Ronstadt, Bob Seger, Carly Simon, Nancy Sinatra, Stephen Stills, Tom Waits, John Cale, Warren Zevon, Warren HaynesJoan Armatrading, Delaney Bramlett, Kim Carnes, Eric Clapton, Ry Cooder, James Cotton,  Jonny Lang, Barbra Streisand, Eric Lynn, Nils Lofgren, Taj Mahal, Coco Montoya, Robert Palmer, Van Dyke Parks, Robert Plant, Helen Watson, and Jimmy Herring.

Fiona Adams

On July 10, 2010, Fiona Adams died aged 84. She was a photographer, one of The Beatles most used photographers, author of the band’s memorable shot jumping off a Brick Wall on Euston Road in London, used on the front cover of the “Twist and Shout” EP.  Adams is also known by the photographs of other 60’s rock icons such as Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix.

I Am Kloot: Sky at Night

On July 5, 2010, “Shepherd Moon” label released “Sky at Night”, the fifth I Am Kloot studio album. It was recorded in 2010 and was produced by Guy Garvey and Craig Potter. The album received the “German Record Critics’ Award” (Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik) in the “Pop and Rock” category.

Jerry Carrigan

On June 22, 2019, Jerry Kirby Carrigan died aged 75. He was musician (drums) and record producer. He first achieved widespread recognition as a member of the original Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and later as a session musician in Nashville, regarded as one of the creators of the Nashville sound known as “Countrypolitan”. He has recorded with Elvis Presley, Joan Baez, Johnny Cash, Charley Pride, Paul Anka, John Denver, Jerry Lee Lewis, Waylon Jennings, Bobby Bare, Ray Stevens, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, Levon Helm, Dolly Parton, Leon Russell, Ronnie Hawkins, George Jones, Henry Mancini, Al Hirt, Johnny Mathis, and the Boston Pops Orchestra. In 2009 Carrigan was inducted into the “Nashville Cats”, by the “Country Music Hall of Fame”; in 2010 he was inducted into the “Alabama Music Hall of Fame”, and in 2019 Carrigan was inducted into the “Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum”.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra: Same

On June 21, 2011, “Fat Possum” label released the self – titled, debut Unknown Mortal Orchestra album. It was recorded in 2010. The album won the 2012 “Taite Music Prize”.
