In February 1971, “Euphoria” label released “James Taylor and the Original Flying Machine”,  archival release of 1966 recordings of James Taylor’s band The Flying Machine, and was produced by Al Gorgoni, and Chip Taylor.

Mason Williams won two “Grammy Awards”, for “Best Pop Instrumental Performance” and “Best Instrumental Theme”. Mike Post won “Best Instrumental Arrangement on the Song”.

It was recorded in 1967, and was produced by John Linde and Shadow Morton.The album doesn’t contain ordinary songs forms, but sound collage featuring different elements: the voices of world leaders past and present, the band reciting excerpts of songs by The Beatles and Sonny Bono.

On February 8, 1977, “Elektra” label released “Marquee Moon”, the debut Television studio album. It was recorded in September 1976, at “A&R Recording” in New York City, and was produced by Andy Johns and Tom Verlaine. In 2003, “NME” magazine named “Marque Moon” the fourth-greatest album of all time. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked it at number 128 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
